This review is written as a summary of the writing service, PaperHelp.org. It is based upon several facets of an investigation that included a full review of the company website, navigating through each link; reviewing the testimonials published on the website; reviews, comments, and feedback provided by customers that were posted in various other places on the internet; and by a “test” order which we placed and received. The results of the investigation are summarized here, in order to give a Paper Help rating that is fair and objective.

Products and Services Offered

The academic products and services that Paper Help offers include the normal ones that most writing services provide – essays, papers, book and movie reviews, research projects, proposals, and summaries, case studies, lab reports, coursework assignments, test-taking, presentations, and all sections of theses and chapters of dissertations. Proofreading and editing services are offered as well. The order form allows students to select their academic levels – undergraduate, graduate or professional. High school students are not served by this company.

We should say a couple of words regarding the quality of the services offered. PaperHelp.org testimonials published on the company site all provide a 4 or 5-star rating with plenty of praise for the quality of products and services received. Reviews and comments found elsewhere on the internet were not as high, and several indicated that they had to request revisions because their initial final products were either not correct or had not met writing expectations. Our experience was mixed. We ordered an 8-page research paper on the U.S. Civil War with 4 resources. The order form does not specifically ask for numbers and types of resources – the customer must remember to put it in the “details” field. We requested a deadline of 6 days. Upon receipt and review, we did find several errors in sentence structure, which made us wonder if the work had been produced by a non-native English speaking writer. We requested revisions and those were completed free of charge. Our own plagiarism check showed only 3% which is normal, so it is our conclusion that PaperHelp.org may not be a fraud.

Writers: We were unable to find any information on the site regarding the degrees and credentials of the writers (the site calls them “authors”) or of the hiring process. Questions in the FAQ section regarding writers only indicate that writers are qualified for the areas in which they write. We find it odd that the company does not provide more information about its writers, especially since all of the writing is at the university or graduate/professional school levels.

Security and Confidence

Part of our PaperHelp.org review includes aspects regarding security and confidence.

Here are our findings:

Positive aspects

• PaperHelp.org is a legitimate writing service
• Customers feel that they are served adequately and receive what they want and by the deadline they set.
• The site has published toll-free numbers on its site, and the one we called was answered by a company representative. 

Negative aspects

• There are a number of grammatical errors in the text on the website, and this is of concern. If native English-speaking professionals are employed, this would not be the case. It brings doubt if company may be trusted.
• The company states that it runs “several” plagiarism checks on its products. In another place it states that it runs only one. Further, it charge a customer $14.00 for that plagiarism report – we wonder why.

Pricing and Discounts

Among most professional writing services, Paper Help prices begin at a very low level - $9.97 per page. There is no pricing chart available, only a statement that pricing is based upon number of pages, academic level and deadline. A customer can provide basic information and get a quote which is then further refined once the entire order is filled out. PaperHelp.org customer reviews regarding pricing had few complaints as well. Our order, an 8-page research paper on the US. Civil War, at the undergraduate level, was $128.00. We found it rather surprising that the number of resources was not figured into pricing as it is with most other writing services.

PaperHelp.org discounts appear to be almost non-existent. We did not find a welcoming discount for new customers, but eventually found a 5% discount for orders totaling $500 and a 10% discount for orders totaling $1000. There were some statements about contacting the customer support department about possible discounts but we found no Paper Help promo codes on the sight. The company does offer a “Refer a Friend Bonus,” – if a customer refers a friend, and that friend places an order, then 10% of that order price will be given to the customer. Other than that, there were vague references to Paper Help coupon codes, but we were unable to find any.

Other Perks and Benefits

By searching this website, we were able to find some extra features that they offer. They include some general features, like VIP customer support representatives, writer preference, Plagiarism check and an Abstract. We consider this list not to be full. Some very important parts are definitely missing.

Final Thoughts

The PaperHelp.org is not a part of BBB membership. In comparison to other writing services, we would have to give a rating of only “Fair.” Perhaps as the company grows, this rating will improve.
